This post originally went up during last round of commissioning, but I’m republishing September 2021 ready for the next round – some details have slightly changed so please do read carefully before submitting!
What do I need?
Sexy blog posts, erotic stories and flash fiction anywhere between 1000 and 3000 words (though this can be flexible). Usually calls for submissions state that work cannot be published elsewhere, but in this case I’m aiming to license work that’s been published on your own site already. I prefer it. I cannot afford to pay huge rates, so the aim is to pay excellent sex writers for work you have already produced, so you can make extra cash without effort. It also gives me an excellent opportunity to promote your site, and your work, on these pages.
Stories should be
a) hot
b) easy for a solo voice to read aloud (i.e. not too heavy on the dialogue/sound effects!)
c) legal
I’m interested in both true sex stories and erotic fiction, and have a particular interest in BDSM stories as they tend to do well on the site. Stories written in first/second person tend to work best as audio (i.e. “I ripped his clothes off” or “I want to rip your clothes off”) because it’s sexy to hear these whispered through headphones into your ears!

What’s in it for you?
I will pay you £15 for a license to adapt/use each story. If you are keen and able to record your work yourself, I will also pay your hourly rate for the time spent recording.
I will edit and produce the finished audio, and publish it here on my own site where audio porn receives over 100,000 listens each month. You’ll also have a dedicated author page on this site which will include links to your own blog and any other relevant projects you’d like me to link to.
I’ll give you an embed code so you can add the audio to your own website, which gives you rich in-page content that should delight your readers, make your website more accessible, and give you search benefit. You can see an example here on Tabitha Rayne’s gorgeous story ‘The Scribe’. I cannot stress enough how important this is to the project – it’s not just about getting sexy erotica for me to publish here, it’s about making other sites more accessible to people using screenreaders too.
I will promote your work further. As well as shouting about you on this website, you’ll also have the option to have your work featured/sub-licensed elsewhere. Where these things earn money, you’ll get a cut of it, and where these things do not earn money, you will be linked and credited to boost your site traffic. You can opt in/out of these things if you like, I’ll send you details if your work is picked so you can have a bit more info on what this part entails.
Erotic writers: Interested? Here’s what to do
Copy/paste the following questions into an email and send, along with your answers to hellogirlonthenet [at] gmail [dotcom] before Friday 1st October.
- Blog name/url:
- Links to 5 posts/stories that you would like me to turn into audio porn.
- If you are looking to record your own work, please attach a sample mp3 file of you reading a couple of paragraphs of your work, with the best equipment you have available, in your best sexy voice and the best quality you can. Sound quality and reading is my priority during this round, so please don’t be offended if I ask to use a different voice to record your work.
- If you are looking to record, please let me know your hourly rate and how long you estimate it’ll take you to record your 5 pieces.
Right now I’m looking for 4 erotic writers for the next round of recording, as I have (very) limited budget so I cannot guarantee say ‘yes’ to everyone I’m afraid, but I will aim to get back to everyone who contacts me by Friday 8th October, and if it’s not possible to license your work this time there will definitely be more opportunities in future. If I have already promised to get in touch with you about commissioning, you should have heard from me already, but if you haven’t feel free to give me a nudge.
Next steps
If your work is selected, I’ll drop you an email with a licensing agreement and overview of what it all entails, then ask you to sign and invoice me if you’re happy with everything. You’ll get an agreement which lays out the terms, for which you can opt in/out of how you’d like your work used. When that’s done, I’ll get started on turning your work into lovely, sexy, accessible audio porn – read by you, or me, or another fabulous, sexy-voiced reader. The audio will be sent to you when it’s ready, so you have a copy for yourself, then it will be added to the publication schedule ready to go on the site. All audio goes up on my Patreon first, because those lovely fuckers are the ones who make this audio work possible, then a few days later it’ll go live on the site and I will send you a link and embed code so you can add to your own website too.

I would love to be able to hire more voices! Feel free to drop me a sample and your rates, although at the moment I am super low on budget so it might not be something I can afford right now – I will definitely bear in mind for the future if I can’t hire ppl at the moment though!
Are you interested in submissions from people who don’t have their own site?
I’d prefer it if people did have their own site, as part of the aim of the audio project is to make existing written erotica more accessible by adding audio, but it’s possible that I may not get enough submissions from people with their own websites, so if you’d like to submit please do! And even if I can’t include your work in this round, I may be able to when I have budget to expand further down the line!

I am just writing my first story.
The listener would be a man and there would be three voices… a narrator, the main female role and a secondary female role.
The secondary female role could also be the narrator I think but wondering if you or other females could colaborate to read out and record my story / script?
I would be interested in teaming up with a more elequent writer with a wider vocabulary to improve my script. I am just wondering if there would be anyone interested in adding more depth to my story?
I have got the story underway… It is more difficult to put my thoughts into words and it is slow progress but it is coming along.

Hi Rob, thanks so much for commenting. From what you’re describing it sounds like you might want to hone your writing/audio skills, which is fab! There’s loads of great advice out there if you want to practice writing (and there are forums for people to share their work too – check out my site sponsor https://literotica.com/, where I know lots of erotic writers have started out!). It sounds like your piece might be outside of what I tend to commission, though, I’m afraid. Firstly as it’s multiple voice, I’m afraid that’s just too expensive and complex for me to do in terms of production (the more voices involved, the costlier it is to get readers as I have to multiply costs by 3, then getting all 3 people in a room to record together is tricky). Secondly as the script needs polishing, I probably couldn’t do any more than fairly basic editing (there’s only one of me and I produce a lot each month). It would also fall outside my core goal of making existing erotica more accessible. One of the reasons why I work with established bloggers is so that alongside bringing their work to life as audio, I can give them a widget to embed in their own website to play the piece aloud (thus making their sites more accessible for people using screenreaders).
As I say, there are lots of places where your story could find a great home, and I’d urge you to explore some of these because the world is always in need of more awesome smut! Do check out Literotica if you get the chance! But I’m afraid it’s probably not possible for me to commission it here.
